Ahead of new music on Friday, here’s a roundup of new videos from Atlanta natives Lil Baby, mulattorapper “Throat Baby” BRS Cash and singer “Entanglement” Auguste Alsina.
After a triumphant 2020, Lil Baby returns with a music video for his new single, “Real as it should bes” with the Louisville rapper IS Gee.
Young melodic rapper Baby walked out the door with his gritty pun and lyricism about leveling his career and his influence on the streets.
“Catch the ball, I score or I pass / I got no love for no [woman]I’m not passionate / I ran a dub on an accident / On the street, I’m the voice, I’m a lawyer”, raps Baby.
Sharing similar sentiments, EST Gee raps, “Ask the trenches, they gon’ say I’m the realest.”
The hip-hop industry gained a whole new level of respect for Baby following the release of his 2020 album, My turn, which was recently certified triple platinum. It featured his single “emotionally scarred“and its protest anthem,”The overview“, on the deluxe version of the album.
Atlanta native BRS Kash also released a music video for his latest single, “Cash app“featuring Atlanta Queen of Da Souf, Mulatto. The track samples Ying Yang Twins 2000 anthem, “Whistle While You Twerk”.
In the video, BRS Kash walks around spotting different women to invite to his “Kash App Party.” After which he sends money to the woman through the cash app. At the mansion party, the drinks are flowing, the girls are twerking, and everyone looks like they’re having a blast.
For its first release this year, Auguste Alsina also shared a music video for their single “Attractive.” The track is from August’s latest album, Product III: state of EMERGENCY, Who made its debut at #48 on the Billboard 200 chart last July.
