Actor Sonnalli Seygall, who filmed for a Punjabi wedding song Dholna and is currently filming for another Punjab music video, believes the music helps keep you emotionally and mentally strong

During the pandemic-induced shutdowns, many actors dabbled in projects other than movies. Actress Sonnalli Seygall, known for her performances in films such as the Pyaar Ka Punchnama and Jai Mummy Di franchise, has taken care of music videos.

In addition to shooting for movies and web shows, Seygall has toured for a Punjabi wedding song, Dholna, and is currently filming for another music video in Punjab. Ask her about her interest in music videos and she replies, “The past year and a half has been a challenge for all of us. And as soon as the projects started rolling again, I felt relieved. I just wanted the momentum to build and continue, and support didn’t matter to me. So, while I was filming for my next acting projects, I also made music videos, “says the actor, who will also be seen in the film Boondi Raita and in a web series alongside Sunny Leone .

The actress believes that music is therapeutic and this is also one of the reasons why she recently participated in such projects. “Mental health has been a concern over the past few months. Music has played a huge role in keeping people entertained and motivated. Lots of musicians came up with interesting songs during the lockdown to inspire people. I relate to this thought personally and believe that music helps keep you emotionally and mentally strong, including me. So when the opportunity to be part of musical projects presented itself to me, I immediately accepted it. If these songs make people smile, what better than that, ”she said.
