Ozuna recently surpassed one billion views with his Manuel Turizo-assisted video “Vaina Loca,” YouTube announced last week.
Three years after its launch, this is Ozuna’s “ninth entry into the Billion Views Club as a lead, featured or collaborating artist – putting the Puerto Rican artist one entry behind J Balvin,” an official statement reads. .
The uplifting reggaeton track, part of Ozuna’s second studio album Will have, reached No. 1 on the Latin Airplay chart on October 6, 2018.
The year isn’t shaping up to be too shabby for the Puerto Rican artist, who was also named BMI’s Contemporary Latin Songwriter of 2021 for writing or co-writing eight of BMI’s most performed tracks – his second time in winning this honor.
