Little Mix’s Jade Thirlwall revealed on Wednesday that she ‘took one for the team’ while filming new music videos this year as teammates Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Perrie Edwards struggled due to their respective pregnancies.
The singer, 28, appeared on Capital Breakfast as the hosts threw her a ‘party of attention’ as her co-stars stole the show recently after both gave birth.
The studio was furnished with balloons, banners and confetti with host Roman Kemp, 28, even presenting Jade with a Ladyship title after buying her land.

As she was honored during the breakfast program, Jade detailed her experience filming the new Heart Break Anthem music video with her pregnant co-stars earlier this year.
She confirmed they were battling the heat and suffering from swollen ankles, with Jade playfully commenting that she thought Leigh-Anne was “going to explode”.
Capital host Sonny Jay asked Jade about working on set and said, “Would you have done the later shifts because the other girls were pregnant?”
“Yeah, first in, first out,” Jade replied to which presenter Sian Welby, 35, said, “I didn’t even think of that!”

Sonny, 28, probed: ‘Now because they’re not here now is the time to let off steam. Dirty things you mean?’
Jade laughed at his question and said, ‘Dirty! Just that I was broken half the time, I really felt for them, mostly [when] it was so hot, we were in the greenhouse and Leigh-Anne’s ankles were swelling every minute!
‘She’s going to explode! The Anne-Marie [collaboration] It was the last shoot and it was very disappointing because I haven’t really seen them since, so they did their pictures and they were like, “See you soon! and I was like, ‘Oh. That’s it then.’

Leigh-Anne, 29, welcomed twins with fiancé Andre Gray in August shortly after teammate Perrie, 28, gave birth to first son Axel with partner Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.
As her co-stars adjust to life as new mothers, Jade confirmed they still have some new music ready to release, which was recorded during their pregnancies.
“So I was thinking, bank music videos, I guess there’s a lot of unreleased music videos that you had to bank,” said presenter Roman, to which Jade confirmed, “There are things … Yes.”
Roman asked, “Are you going to photoshop it so they don’t get pregnant?” as the Little Mix star revealed, “No, they’re still pregnant in the next one, and the next one actually!”
Pregnancy symptoms: She joked: ‘We were in the greenhouse and Leigh-Anne’s ankles were swelling by the minute! It will explode!
Sian exclaimed, ‘How many have you made!?’ while Roman chimed in, “People who aren’t going to find out, they’re going to be like, ‘Oh my god, I hope they’re okay!
Jade commented, “To be honest they didn’t feel real, they felt more like a prop I think because we took care of their bellies in each of the videos.”
“I felt like it wasn’t real to me, so now there are pictures of real babies, I’m like, ‘Oh, you were pregnant! I thought it was a gag, a little press!” she joked.
Little Mix became a trio when former bandmate Jesy Nelson left the band in December to focus on her mental health.
She is expected to launch her solo career with new music later this year.
