Chingari collaborates with Benchmark Entertainment for 20 clips


Mumbai: Chingari, the local short video sharing platform, announced its partnership with Benchmark Entertainment on Tuesday. As part of the deal, Chingari and Benchmark Entertainment will release 20 new songs over the next six months.

Users of the Chingari app will be able to access new music videos that will be released by Benchmark Entertainment. Users will be able to watch the full videos of these songs on the Chingari Multiplex / Superhit Songs platform. These songs will remain on the Chingari app for a period of three years, the statement said.

“Chingari has catapulted itself into being one of the most successful short video apps in India as it continues to innovate and expand its offering to meet the needs of its users,” said Sumit Ghosh, co-founder and CEO of the Chingari app. “We have a strong media library and we are constantly working to strengthen it with exclusive and entertaining content. Our association with Benchmark Entertainment is a step in that direction.”

Benchmark Entertainment has released thirteen hit videos featuring popular names like Karan Kundra, Shraddha Arya, Suyyash Rai, Gajendra Verma, and Ieshaan Sehgal. Their latest track “Insaaf” with TV actor Parth Samthaan and Samreen Kaurwas was released in collaboration with Chingari on October 8 and is already gaining popularity on the Chingari app. “Our goal is to bring together a community of people who want to do more with music and redefine the ways in which content is consumed,” said Mukesh Mishra, COO of Benchmark Entertainment at the association.

“This partnership will help us both explore new opportunities and new areas for growth. We believe this is an ideal platform to promote our music videos and Chingari users will appreciate this content, ”commented Sandil Dang, Founder of Benchmark Entertainment.

To promote the song “Insaaf”, Chingari also held a contest for its users. As part of this competition, content creators and influencers are encouraged to make videos using the song Insaaf and the best videos in this segment have a chance to win 20 lakh Chingari coins, the platform said.
